Our User Centered Design (UCD) team has been in existence since 2007 and has since completed over 300 cross-national projects. Our team UCD has different qualifications, main topics (qualitative and quantitative methods) and professional experience (for example usability agency, online marketing, market research).

A comprehensive portfolio of methods (qualitative and quantitative) is available for optimization. Depending on the research question or the goal, a suitable method mix is developed by our UCD specialists and agreed with you.

Customer portfolio

Since 2007, the User Centered Design team has been dedicated to the conversion optimization of the BAUR Group's online stores. In addition, numerous online stores of the Otto Group have already been supported, for example Witt Weiden, Creation L, Hagebau, Frankonia, SportScheck or Manufactum.

User centered design is an iterative or ongoing process in which the context of use is first analyzed in order to define the requirements for the product (web, tab, mob, app). Solutions with optimal usability and experience are then developed and evaluated by the users.

Method consulting 
  • Our UCD team combines many years of practical experience and the necessary expert knowledge as certified Neuland facilitators as well as certified usability engineers to advise you on the optimal use of different user research methods.
  • You can approach us with research questions or problems that can be clarified from the customer's point of view (or from the usability expert's point of view). During the method consultation, we will discuss the best ways for you to implement these tasks.
Usability training 
  • We will teach you interaction principles that you can use to evaluate interactive systems. In addition, we transfer know-how regarding the User Centered Design lifecycle as well as relevant methods to you.
  • Using illustrative examples, we teach participants the standardized interaction principles. They gain a better understanding of usability, which improves their daily work on concepts.
