Your tasks:

You will be part of our agile platform engineering team, consisting of Scrum Master, Product Owner and 4 DevOps.

You will take over the further development of our self-developed store platform infrastructure with focus on scaling and stability.

You share responsibility for our systems and processes in live operations by monitoring SLAs, response times, latencies and resource usage.

Just like your team members, you always want to stay up-to-date and therefore keep yourself informed about current trends.

You have a 24/7 on-call duty (approx. 1x per month) in rotation with the other DevOps.
What you bring along:

You are familiar with the use of cloud services, Kubernetes, containers (e.g. Docker), version control (Git), infrastructure as code (Terraform), continuous integration and automation.

In the best case, you already had first contact points with distributed, modern architecture (microservices), monitoring (e.g. Prometheus, Google Cloud Operations Suite), GitOps (Flux) as well as tracing (OpenTelemetry).

You have experience with running web applications and have deep Linux knowledge as well as fundamentals in software development (e.g. Java, Node.js, Go, React.js, Next.js, TypeScript).

You have a certain penchant for sarcasm, but are still professional when it counts.

You can communicate well with your colleagues (German B2 level, English B1).
